Frank currently leads the US corporate finance and governance practice for Squire Patton Boggs. He has more than 30 years’ experience with securities law, private equity financings, antitakeover and shareholder engagement and activism issues.

Chris is currently the President and CEO of TIAA. Prior to TIAA, Chris was a member of the Operating Committee and the Head of Fundraising at Fidelity Charitable where he led their national fundraising and complex assets teams, responsible for strategic direction, alignment and execution.
Hugh Lytle
Hugh Lytle is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Equality Health, LLC a population risk management company focused on improving care delivery for the underserved. Equality Health works with managed care plans, employers, and health systems to engage diverse members in a more meaningful and culturally significant way through customized, culturally-competent provider networks, mobile-based patient engagement platforms, and proprietary cultural care pathways, designed to improve chronic conditions that affect disparate populations.

Prior to founding Equality Health, Mr. Lytle co-founded Univita Health, a unique home-based care management business that improves the coordination and effectiveness of care delivered in home settings. For three and half years after founding Univita, Mr. Lytle led the company as President and Chief Executive Officer, building Univita into a national platform Independent Aging company serving over 6 Million commercially insured working-age, Medicare and Medicaid seniors and low-income beneficiaries.
Prior to creating Univita, Mr. Lytle was President and Co-Founder of Axia Health Management, LLC, the nation’s leading population health management company whose pioneering efforts led to the development of the industry’s first true single source provider of integrated preventive health and wellness benefits for Employers and Health Plans. Axia’s flagship product, The Silver Sneakers Fitness Program is the nation’s leading fitness program designed exclusively for active older adults, currently engaging more than 2 million seniors nationwide.
Mr. Lytle brings more than 25 years of executive healthcare leadership experience to our nations healthcare challenges. Prior to Axia/Healthways, Mr. Lytle held executive positions at CVS Health and Xerox Corporation.
Mr. Lytle earned an MBA from Butler University (1995) and a BA in Economics from the University of Indianapolis (1989). Mr. Lytle is a Principal with StarWest Ventures, a strategic healthcare advisory firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Lytle is a Guest-Lecturer at University of Arizona Eller School of Management. Hugh served as an Independent Board Director for GreatCall, Inc. until the sale of the company in summer 2017.
Frank M. Placenti
Frank M. Placenti serves as the leader of the US corporate finance and governance practice for Squire Patton Boggs. He is nationally recognized for his work in both corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions, and he has more than 30 years’ experience with securities law, private equity financings, antitakeover and shareholder engagement and activism issues. He has represented public companies, broker/dealers and private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Frank serves as the Founding President, CEO and Trustee of the American College of Corporate Governance Counsel and as a Vice-Chair of the ABA Committee on Corporate Governance.
Frank has been listed in Best Lawyers in America every year since 2006, in Chambers USA since 2003, and he is a multi-year member of the Lawdragon 500, an acknowledgment given to the top 500 lawyers in America. Each year since 2007, Frank has been selected by his peers as a Southwest Super Lawyer, a distinction awarded to the top 5 percent of lawyers in the region.
Frank has served as lead director for several public and private companies in industries including healthcare and has served as Chair of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation and as a member of that hospital’s Board of Directors. He is a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership and has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Herberger Theater Company, as well as the Board of Directors of the Arizona Science Center. He is frequently invited to speak to community and nonprofit organizations.
Frank is also the Editor of The Directors Handbook, A Field Guide to 101 Situations Commonly Encountered in the Boardroom.
Christopher D. Carnal
Chris Carnal joined TIAA in 2016 as Head of Fundraising & Distribution and was promoted to President and CEO in 2018.
Prior to TIAA, Chris was a member of the Operating Committee and the Head of Fundraising at Fidelity Charitable where he led their national fundraising and complex assets teams, responsible for strategic direction, alignment and execution. Chris and his teams have raised over $16B and granted over $10B to non-profits.
Prior to Fidelity Charitable, Chris was president, managing partner and founder of Protective Wealth Management, an investment platform start-up offering a variety of advisory services to registered investment advisors. Earlier in his career, Chris held senior positions with Allianz, Legg Mason, and ING in sales and distribution roles. In addition to Protective Wealth Management, Mr. Carnal has founded three other companies: Krosswalk, an augmented reality CRM, Honest Guys Pizza, a family entertainment concept and Alternative Distributors, a global import/export company.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University and resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with his wife, Amanda, their three children, Grace, Katherine and Claire and their two yellow labs, Cisco and Pancho.
Chris is also involved in a number of charities locally and nationally.

Dr. Maria Harper-Marinick is a national leader in higher education and a strong advocate for access to opportunity, equity, and student success.

Chris Camacho serves as the President and CEO at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, one of the longest standing public-private partnerships for economic development across the country.

Paul Luna is President and CEO of Helios Education Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals in Arizona and Florida to succeed in postsecondary education.
Maria Harper-Marinick, Ph.D
Dr. Maria Harper-Marinick is a national leader in higher education and a strong advocate for access to opportunity, equity, and student success. She served the Maricopa Community College District, one of the largest community college systems in the nation, for almost 30 years in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as Chancellor. She is a Senior Fellow for the College Excellence Program, The Aspen Institute.
Dr. Harper-Marinick is very committed to service in the community and has actively engaged in national and local boards including American Council of Education, American Association of Community Colleges, Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, Arizona Commerce Authority, and Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC). She currently serves on the Boards of Excelencia in Education, Creighton University, Valley of the Sun United Way, Teach for America, YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Valley Leadership Impact Makers. She chaired the Federal Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistant. She is an Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow and a Distinguished Fellow of the ASU Morrison Institute for Public Policy. Diverse: Issues in Higher Education named Maria one of 25 exceptional women leaders who have made a difference in higher education.
Maria is originally from the Dominican Republic and came to the U.S. as a Fulbright Scholar. She holds masters and Ph.D. degrees in educational technology from ASU.
Chris Camacho
Chris Camacho serves as the President and CEO at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, one of the longest standing public-private partnerships for economic development across the country. He previously served as the organization’s Executive Vice President.
During his tenure, GPEC has led the attraction of more than 230 companies creating 38,881 jobs and $2.9 billion in capital investment. Some of the more notable projects include Apple, Silicon Valley Bank, Zenefits, GoDaddy, Yelp, Amazon, Garmin, General Motors and many others.
He is involved in community non-profits including Chicanos Por La Casa, and sits on the boards for the Arizona Business Education Coalition, Year Up, the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Valley of the Sun United Way, as well as the International Economic Development Council and the Economic Innovation Group Policy Council. In 2016 he was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve on the U.S. Investment Advisory Council, to advise the Secretary on foreign direct investment policies and strategies.
Camacho graduated from Southern Illinois University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Public Administration and Policy Analysis. He also attended the University of Oklahoma for the Economic Development Institute.
Paul Luna
Paul Luna is President and CEO of Helios Education Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals in Arizona and Florida to succeed in postsecondary education.
Paul is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the organization, cultivating strong community relationships and initiating strategic partnerships in Arizona and Florida for the Foundation. Prior to joining Helios in 2006, Paul served as President of Valley of the Sun United Way.
A native of Miami, Arizona, Paul graduated from Miami High School. As a first generation college student, he attended Stanford University where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to his role at Helios, Paul currently serves as a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership, Greater Phoenix Economic Council, the National College Access Network Board of Directors, the America’s Promise Alliance Board of Directors, the Florida College Access Network Steering Committee, the Center for the Future of Arizona Board of Directors, and the Arizona Community Foundation Board of Directors, and is the Immediate Past Chair of the Expect More Arizona Board of Directors.

Todd Sanders is currently President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and represented the interests of the business community in the Arizona State Legislature.

Mr. Astorga retired in 2011 from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona where he served for over 22 years as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Todd Sanders
Todd Sanders is currently President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to assuming his current role, he represented the interests of the business community in the State Legislature as Vice President of Public Affairs for the Phoenix Chamber. Prior to joining the Chamber, Todd served as a Policy Analyst for the Arizona House of Representatives in the areas of taxation, environment, political subdivisions and international trade.
He is a native of Bogotá, Colombia and a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Previous work experience also includes contract work for British Petroleum, South America. Todd serves on the Board of Directors for the following organizations: Valley of the Sun United Way, Banner Alzheimer’s Foundation, Visit Phoenix, Friends of Public Radio, the Arizona-Mexico Commission, Arizona Town Hall, Arizona Chamber Executives, Western Association of Chamber Executives, Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and CALA Alliance.
Tony M. Astorga
Mr. Astorga retired in 2011 from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona where he served for over 22 years as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He also held the position of President of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mexico from 1994-1999 and Chief Business Development Officer from 2009-2011 during his tenure at BCBSAZ.
Prior to joining BCBSAZ, he was a Partner with Astorga & Maurseth, a local CPA firm from 1975-1987, and a Senior Supervisor with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell (KPMG), a national CPA firm from 1970-1975. He has served as the chairman of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation since 2011 and is an advisor to several organizations, including the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Global, Consular Corps of Arizona and GlobalMed. He is also a member of the board of directors of AZHCC, BBVA Compass Arizona, Phoenix Art Museum, and Western International University. He has previously served on various community and business boards, and has been involved in community leadership roles as co-chair of the Governor’s Citizens Finance Review Commission, Maricopa Community Colleges’ ACE Campaign Cabinet, and Governor’s Film and Television Commission.
Mr. Astorga received a B.S. Degree in accounting with high honors from Arizona State University and has attended executive education programs at Fuqua School of Business – Duke University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management – Northwestern University, and Graduate Center for Health Professions – University of California San Francisco.
